After spending the last few months building and cultivating her sound, Seattle-based artist Lily Minke Tahar now introduces her YEARN project with its riveting debut single 'Shapeshifter'.
Capturing a wonderfully rich and enigmatic aesthetic for her initial offering, 'Shapeshifter' makes for an incredibly warm and inviting introduction to her sound so far. With its broad and immersive textures, shimmering atmosphere, and spellbinding hooks layered throughout, she is kicking things off this new venture with a wonderfully enjoyable opening number.
While this new journey may have only just gotten underway, 'Shapeshifter' shows that she already has a strong and confident grasp over her direction right now. Brimming with this adventurous spirit from start to finish, we can't wait to hear what else she has in store for us for the months ahead as well.
