Bologna-based artist Benny Fisher returns with his latest release 'London Town', a richly textured, genre-blurring piece that drifts between ambient tones and psychedelic flair. Unlike his previous home-recorded work, this track is a collaborative effort featuring contributions from several musicians including Sergio Carlini (guitar), Luca Leprotti (bass/production), and Marco Biscarini (piano/production).
Adding to the track’s uniqueness is a remix from legendary dub producer Mad Professor, whose instinctive, tape-based mixing process adds a spontaneous and unpredictable energy. Known for working with the likes of Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, and Sade, Mad Professor’s involvement gives the track a distinctive edge.
Accompanying the single is a nostalgic Super 8 video directed by award-winning filmmaker Peter Spence, who draws from his personal archive to craft a warm and dreamlike visual story. The hazy footage complements the track’s immersive atmosphere, and the result is a vivid, multi-sensory release that merges organic performance with psychedelic nostalgia and dub experimentation.
