Louie Cameron continues the rollout of his debut EP with the release of 'Canina Canoona', the second single from 'Do You Wanna Go Out?', arriving on the 1st May.
Showcasing a lighter and more playful side to his songwriting, the track blends Americana textures with breezy, late-60s pop sensibilities. With its melodic warmth and offbeat charm, 'Canina Canoona' leans into a psych-pop aesthetic that feels both nostalgic and quietly cinematic.
Produced by Pat Dam Smyth and featuring Callum Merrett (Bad Sounds) on drums, the song evolved from lo-fi phone recordings into a fully realised studio piece. Its unusual title stems from an inside joke, adding another layer of personality to the release.
After years performing across the UK and Europe, Louie Cameron now steps forward as a solo artist, drawing on a wide palette of influences spanning music and film.
