Low Clika’s debut album is the sound of a door being thrown open. Across twelve tracks, 'El Primer Álbum de Low Clika' takes the sounds and traditions of Música Mexicana and sends them spilling into a much wider contemporary landscape, where different genres, production styles and cultural reference points can collide without cancelling each other out.

Throughout this new collection, Low Clika never treat tradition like something preserved behind glass. Here, it moves, bends and flashes through the record in different forms, grounding the music even as the production reaches outward.

With Julia Lewis and Wicked Outside at the centre of the production team, alongside Marcelo Rivera, Dunkchord, Alan Vega and Jozu, the album has real depth and movement. Different textures surface from track to track, but there's always a thread pulling everything back towards the group’s Mexican roots.

The result is music that feels bright, restless and built for a generation that doesn't necessarily see genre borders as particularly useful. After months of singles, visual storytelling and live appearances, 'El Primer Álbum de Low Clika' finally gathers the different pieces into one place. What previously existed as glimpses now feels like a complete world in itself.
