Solomon's Seal unveils new single 'Goodbye'

After a year spent travelling, Solomon’s Seal returns with the beautifully understated ‘Goodbye’, the fifth single from forthcoming debut album 'Circles'.

Originally written following the end of a relationship, the song began as a meditation on letting someone go. But time has since transformed its meaning. Arriving as he returns to England after a year away, ‘Goodbye’ now finds departure and homecoming becoming strangely intertwined.

That emotional shift unfolds through a wonderfully intimate folk arrangement. Close vocals and sparse acoustic instrumentation gradually expand into a stirring crescendo, carrying the track from resignation towards something altogether more hopeful. Fans of Iron & Wine, early Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens and Fleet Foxes should find plenty to love.
