Amana Melome' is ready to turn reflection into pure celebration with ‘RECALIBRATED’, arriving as a vibrant reimagining of her recent album 'Recalibration'.
Where the original explored reconnection, transformation and finding her way back to her authentic self, its new companion record heads directly for the dancefloor. Deep and soulful house, jazz-house, funk, disco and dub reggae reshape the songs without losing the emotional heart that made them resonate in the first place.
An international team helps bring that vision to life. Joel Holmes and Cee ElAssaad transform “SO DONE!” into a liberating deep-house opener, Argentina's Somos Animales bring dub-reggae energy to “Con C.Alma”, while Sweden's Opolopo gives “Recalibration” a funk and disco makeover. Godblesscomputers and Deron Johnson also contribute distinctive reinterpretations.
