Following on from their heavily-praised 2016 album 'Choose Your Own Adventure', London's Vanishing Twin now look to continue their warm and cinematic sound with the arrival of their latest LP 'The Age Of Immunology'. As five individuals from different parts of the world all finding each other in the nation's capital, this new full-length looks to channel the wave of uncertainly that has gripped our country since the EU Referendum, offering up a unique and outsiders perspective on the rise of populism that has slowly begun to take over the world these last few years.

Much like their work to date, 'The Age Of Immunology' sits comfortably in that slow and meandering indie-rock sound that bands such as Pavement and Deerhunter have been running with for years. With their diverse approach to percussion, this latest offering adds much more than just another political leaning. As it plays, the LP looks to take us on a smooth and tranquil journey through the mind of the outfit, flipping between full assemble pieces and the occasional instrumentation track, this new collection sees the band rise to a higher height than we have heard from them before and they deliver what is quite possibly their most engaging record to date.

While still sitting very much on the peripheries of the scene, Vanishing Twin have made a bold and enticing statement with their newest release. 'The Age Of Immunology' not only stands as an important and timely release, but also showcases a level of proficiency that is rarely heard in music today.
