While the band have spent much of the last few years involved in personal side-projects, most notably EL VY and Planetarium, The National look like they are planning something for themselves once again.
A mysterious 30-second video was uploaded to their Facebook page, with next to no explanation about it, apart from the title 'Sleep Well Beast'. If it turns out to be an indication of a new studio album, it will be their first since 2013's 'Trouble Will Find Me'.
As it stands, the band are keeping schtum about their current situation but you can check out the video for yourself in the player below.
