Three founding members of Welsh rock band The Alarm are set to share the stage for the first time in more than 20 years, with two special reunion shows taking place at The Garage in London on August 29 and 30, 2026.
Guitarist Dave Sharp, bassist Eddie Macdonald and drummer Nigel Twist will reunite to celebrate 45 years of The Alarm, as well as honour the life and musical legacy of frontman Mike Peters, who passed away in 2025. Candid frontman Robert Latimer will take on vocal duties across the two performances.
One of the defining British rock bands of the 1980s, The Alarm built a huge international following through their energetic live shows and anthemic songwriting. The band scored 16 UK Top 50 singles and sold more than five million records worldwide, with tracks including 'Sixty Eight Guns' and 'Rain In The Summertime' becoming enduring fan favourites.
Their 1984 debut album Declaration reached No. 6 in the UK Albums Chart, while their touring history saw them share stages with Queen, U2 and Bob Dylan, including a performance supporting Queen at Wembley Stadium during their 1986 Magic Tour.
The upcoming shows will mark the first time Sharp, Macdonald and Twist have performed together since a VH1 appearance in 2003. Alongside the live performances, the weekend will feature special guests, fan meet-and-greets, live Q&As and a celebration of the band's history.
With two decades separating the original members' last performance together, 'REUNION' promises to be a significant moment for longtime Alarm fans and a chance to experience a key part of the band's story live once again.
