Arlo Parks unveils new single 'Get Go'

Twice Grammy-nominated and Mercury Prize–winning artist Arlo Parks has released her new single 'Get Go', offering another preview of her forthcoming album 'Ambiguous Desire', which arrives on the 3rd April via Transgressive Records.

The track debuted as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record and blends Parks’ reflective songwriting with lively breakbeat rhythms influenced by the sound of London’s early pirate radio stations. Through vivid storytelling, the song captures the atmosphere of nightlife and the characters who emerge after dark, focusing on a figure navigating the highs and lows of love while moving through crowded dance floors.

'Get Go' follows the previously released singles 'Heaven' and '2SIDED', both of which will also appear on the new album.

According to Parks, the song reflects one of the central ideas behind the upcoming record: the mixture of joy and sadness often found in nightlife spaces. The dancefloor becomes a place where people process emotions, reconnect with themselves, and explore complicated feelings about relationships.
