As an artist that has always looked for the more adventurous and dynamic avenue in which to create her music, Welsh singer and songwriter Greta Isaac has now returned to deliver her stunning new single 'Power'.
With strong nods to the anthemic dark-pop sound popularised by the likes of Billie Eilish and Banks, 'Power' sees her in her most spellbinding and captivating guise yet. Mixing a rich array of subtle electronics and eerie vocals throughout, her latest gem looks set to see her become one of the most talked about emerging names in the coming months.
Speaking about the new offering, she said, “This is about how I feel being looked at as a woman and how I can feel useless without the affirmation of the male gaze. Each line starts as a compliment then slowly transitions to sinister promises. The idea of being complimented about my appearance and when I haven’t accepted them, or actively challenged them, my appearance and my femininity is used as a weapon against me."
