Following on from the release of her highly-praised 'River' EP earlier this year, fast-rising producer Hannah Thurlow has now announced her plans for her next EP 'Grip', showcased by the vibrant new single 'Spin Change'.
Much like what she has already delivered in recent years, 'Spin Change' explores more of that broad and immersive electronic aesthetic she is quickly earning a reputation for. With its bright and kinetic energy threaded throughout, she continues to stand as one of the more innovative names on the rise right now.
Speaking about the new track, she said, “Listening to many different types of music whilst out in clubs has been a huge influence for me,” she comments. “I wanted to keep the track quite raw and keep some of the live recorded elements buried underneath. It was a great release for me to work on this record, making sounds that I love.”
While adding about her next EP, “Grip came at a time when I had been going to a lot of live hardware shows and club nights,” Hannah says. “The sun was shining. This translated into the music and I discovered the joy in the randomness of modular and drum machines so interesting. I’m excited to see what comes next on this journey.”
Her new EP 'Grip' will be released on the 3rd November, and you can have a listen to 'Spin Change' in the player below.
