ARTIST OF THE WEEK: No.572 - Tomorrow Woman

Paris-based artist Tomorrow Woman, the electronic project of California-born musician Betsy Roszko, has announced her debut EP 'Plays Machines', due for release on the 1st May. Alongside the announcement, she has shared the EP’s first single 'Honey Factory'.

Previously known for her work in the European underground with the goth/post-punk trio Gomme, Roszko returns after a seven-year break with a new creative direction rooted in electronic production. The project reflects a period of personal and artistic rediscovery, as she taught herself music production while living just outside Paris.

'Honey Factory introduces the world of Tomorrow Woman with a surreal narrative that reflects on the pressures of modern systems and the uneasy relationship between luxury and labour. The track blends experimental electronic textures with a rhythm-driven approach inspired by Roszko’s long connection to dance and movement.

Written and recorded in her Paris living room, 'Plays Machines' explores themes such as identity, spiritual reflection, and resistance to rigid systems. The EP was mixed by Saguiv Rosenstock (YHWH Nailgun) and mastered by Heba Kadry, known for work with Björk and Blood Orange.
