Be Your Own Pet announce new album 'Mommy'

After recently returning to deliver their brilliant comeback single 'Hand Grenade' earlier this year, their first piece of new material in fifteen years, Be Your Own Pet have now announced their plans for a new studio album.

The new full-length 'Mommy' is being previewed by the newly unveiled offering 'Worship The Whip', which comes accompanied by a stunning Jordan William-directed video, and is set to be released on the 25th August via Third Man Records.

Speaking about the new track, the band's Jemina Pearl Abegg said, “'Worship The Whip' is about the right wing authoritarian personality. Aggressive and domineering to people who don’t think like them, while at heart being a submissive to the authority figures who use and abuse them.”
