Bonnie "Prince" Billy announces new album 'We Are Together Again'

Will Oldham, known widely under his long-running moniker Bonnie “Prince” Billy, has announced the release of his next studio album 'We Are Together Again', arriving on the 6th March through Domino and No Quarter. The ten-track record is the follow-up to 2025’s acclaimed 'The Purple Bird' and features a tight circle of collaborators from Oldham’s Louisville roots.

Recorded at End of an Ear Studios in Kentucky, the album features contributions from Jacob Duncan, Thomas Deakin, Ryder McNair, Chris Bush, Ned Oldham, and Erin Hill. Vocalists Catherine Irwin (who previously appeared on 'Ease Down the Road'), along with Lacey Guthrie, Tory Fisher, and Katie Peabody of local band Duchess, add choral depth to the album’s bookending tracks.

The record’s first single 'They Keep Trying To Find You' is out now, accompanied by a video choreographed and directed by Abi Elliott.

Described as a meditation on fear, transformation, and resilience, 'We Are Together Again' draws strength from creative community and defiant optimism. While acknowledging the uncertainty of a changing world, Oldham’s latest work leans into the enduring power of shared expression.
