Despite releasing their incredible new album 'Moth' earlier this year, electro duo Chairlift have announces their plans to split up.
The pair, consisting of Patrick Wimberly and Caroline Polachek, are planning to pursue solo ambitions from now on, with frontwoman Polachek looking to follow up her recent solo material and Wimberley becoming a full-time producer.
The band are still going ahead with a farewell tour in the new year, with details yet to be announced, and you can read their break-up statement in full below.
