Cigarettes After Sex announce new album 'Cry'

Following on from their critically-acclaimed 2017 self-titled LP, Cigarettes After Sex have now returned to announce the details behind their sophomore studio album.

The new full-length 'Cry' was recorded and inspired by the band's new home in Mallorca, is being previewed by the new single 'Heavenly', and is expected to arrive on the 25th October via Partisan Records.

Speaking about the influence their new surroundings had on the record's sound, frontman and guitarist Greg Gonzalez said, "The sound of this record is completely tied to the location for me. Ultimately, I view this record as a film. It was shot in this stunning, exotic location, and it stitches all these different characters and scenes together, but in the end is really about romance, beauty & sexuality. It’s a very personal telling of what those things mean to me.”
