Following on from the release of his much-loved sophomore LP 'Pastlife' last year, Day Wave has now returned to share a brand new single.
The new track 'As You Are' marks his first piece of solo material this year, and continues more of that warm and woozy indie-pop aesthetic he is known for.
Speaking about the new offering, he said, “It’s about a relationship unravelling, and the moment you realize that neither person is willing to change to make it work. The song took a while to fully come to fruition. I had been playing the chord progression over and over again for months before I actually wrote the song over it.”
