The Decemberists detail new album

We first heard about a new Decemberists album after frontman Colin Meloy took to the streets of New York to busk some of its new material last month, but now we have the full details surrounding its release.

The band's seventh full-length 'What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World' is the follow-up to their 2011 album 'The King Is Dead', and is expected to be available to buy from the 19th January via Rough Trade.

They have also unveiled the first track to be taken from the new record, 'Make You Better', which you can stream and see the album's full tracklist below.
