Disclosure announce new album 'ENERGY'

After returning back in February to unveil their 'Ecstasy' EP, Disclosure are back once again to announce the details behind their new studio album, arriving later this year.

The new full-length 'ENERGY' is being previewed by the new title-track which features samples of hip-hop preacher Eric Thomas, the same man whose words memorably appeared on their 2013 cut ‘When a Fire Starts to Burn’, and is set to be released on the 28th August via Island Records.

Speaking about their new offering, they said, “When we found Eric many years ago, he was like a goldmine of inspirational quotes and motivational speeches. Even if he was speaking to a room of five it was like he was addressing a stadium. He has an immense presence and energy about him that translates so well into music – especially house music. This time we cut up various speeches to make something that makes sense. What he says is basically the whole concept for the record, that’s why it became the title track.”
