Ezra Collective announce new album 'Here Because Of Hope'

Fresh from a triumphant headline appearance on the New Music Stage at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, London jazz innovators Ezra Collective have announced their fourth studio album 'Here Because of Hope', arriving on the 18th September via Partisan Records.

The announcement arrives alongside the release of the album’s uplifting lead single ‘Only Love’, a vibrant collaboration with Pa Salieu. Built around infectious West African-inspired rhythms, soaring brass arrangements and deeply personal storytelling, the track celebrates resilience, joy and human connection while showcasing the natural chemistry between the two artists.

Following a remarkable run that saw Ezra Collective become the first jazz act to win the Mercury Prize before also claiming Group of the Year at the Brit Awards, 'Here Because of Hope' finds the band entering a bold new phase. Featuring guest appearances from Letitia Wright, Lila Iké, Leona Lewis and Libianca, the album explores the journey from hardship to optimism through the lens of community, spirituality and celebration.
