Former Jungle vocalist ANDRO drops shimmering new single

Some connections burn bright and fade fast—ANDRO knows that feeling intimately, and he's channeled it into 'Virgo', a track that lingers like the memory of someone you'll never quite forget. Drenched in 80s nostalgia and neo-soul grooves, the single is a slow-burn meditation on those magnetic encounters that vanish as quickly as they arrive.

After spending seven years as vocalist for acclaimed band Jungle—hitting stages at Glastonbury, Coachella, and Alexandra Palace, plus TV spots from Stephen Colbert to Jools Holland—ANDRO's solo work reveals a more intimate side. 'Virgo' strips away the crowd-pleasing spectacle for something quieter, more personal: a song about falling for someone who slips through your fingers just when you thought you had them figured out.

Co-produced and co-written with underground talent T.Priestly, the track emerged from a session that felt almost cosmic. Both artists share the same star sign, and that synchronicity became the thread pulling the song together. "I fell in love with someone who is a Virgo," ANDRO says. "Coming out of one of the longest and most turbulent relationships I've ever had, it was a moment of reflection and self-awareness as well as a bit of soft retribution to my Ex."

There's a duality here—vulnerability and vengeance, longing and letting go. The track doesn't just recount a fleeting romance; it examines what happens when you're left holding the ghost of something that never fully materialised. For ANDRO's astrology-loving fanbase, the zodiac angle adds another layer of recognition, turning the personal into the universal.

'Virgo' arrives as the first glimpse of 'Broken Limerence', ANDRO's upcoming EP landing later in 2025 via Endowed Music Records. Already backed by PRS Foundation's POWER UP initiative and championed by outlets like Wonderland, Clash, and BBC Radio 6 Music, ANDRO is proving his solo career isn't just a post-band pivot—it's a fully realised artistic vision finding its voice.

'Virgo' by ANDRO is out now via Endowed Music Records.
