Gena Rose Bruce shares new single 'Harsh Light'

With her eagerly-awaited new album landing later this month, Gena Rose Bruce has now dropped another cut lifted from her forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Harsh Light' follows on from the previously shared 'Misery and Misfortune', 'Foolishly In Love' and the record's title-track in previewing her sophomore LP 'Deep Is The Way', which is out on the 27th January via Dot Dash / Remote Control Records.

Speaking about the new offering, she said, "Originally I wrote this song as a ballad, and visioned it as quite a slow song. It wasn't until we got in the studio that we realised it needed to be 5 times the tempo! I’m a huge Beatles fan and I think this song really shows that."
