In an era where music often feels fleeting, Collaborations is a project determined to bring back timeless songwriting with soul, purpose, and heart. Founded by music admirer Ed Daniels, the collective unites a rotating family of musicians, vocalists, and award-winning instrumentalists under one banner, creating music that inspires hope, positivity, and connection across generations.
Their new single 'You Gotta Know' captures this ethos perfectly. What began as a melody and hook from Daniels soon grew into a fully orchestrated anthem with the help of co-writers Anais Preller and Matt Oestreicher, a studio full of gifted players, and the guiding hand of producer Vic Steffens at Horizon Music Studios. The result is an uplifting call to question the world as it is, and imagine how it might be changed. So with the new single available now, we sat down with Ed Daniels to talk about his origins and influences over the last few years.
