After breaking through with his much-loved debut EP 'The Grey & Black' in 2022, emerging artist Jack Durden now makes his eagerly-awaited return to deliver his thunderous new single 'Eternity'.
Taking cues from the likes of Bring Me the Horizon, Bad Omens, Linkin Park, and Architects, 'Eternity' makes for a stellar return to form for him. With its blistering textures, soaring atmosphere, and killer riffs layered throughout, he is certainly looking to get our fists pumping with this one.
So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with him to find out more about his origins and what has been inspiring him most lately.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
Guitar
What kind of music did you love when you were younger?
I’m still young! So I love rock music.
What was the first album you remember owning?
Meteora by Linking Park
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
Dumb - Nirvana
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
I prefer to be alone and have some alcohol.
Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
Bring Me The Horizon, Linking Park, Nirvana, Marilyn Manson.
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
I would like to share my music with as many people as possible and not with just one person.
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
Music creation process.
And what is the most frustrating part?
Lack of inspiration.
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
Do what you think is necessary.
