What was the first instrument you fell in love with?

Oh, I can say it as an Acoustic Guitar.

What kind of music did you love when you were younger?

Definitely Bossa Nova and 70’s Progressive Rock, also, sometimes I would give a listen to Vivaldi and Corelli and some soul-like tunes.

What was the first album you remember owning?

It was a Roberta Flack - Feel Like Making Love LP, bought it in a bargain, paid like R$ 2,50 for the vinyl record.

What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?

I wish I could’ve written Atom Heart Mother Suite, it's so unique and complex that it has engraved itself in my mind as a musician, containing so many layers, textures and creativity.

Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?

Yes! We as a band have an unified creative process, we get our instruments of choice, and simply start playing around until we find something catchy, then we start to jam and trip on the idea, that’s how our songs are brought to life.

Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?

King Gizzard, Pesta, Claypool Lennon Delirium and Trovão Rocha Trio.

If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?

Have to admit, King Gizzard comes to mind!

What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?

It feels like I’ve found my purpose for life.

And what is the most frustrating part?

I can say that there are cultural barriers depending on where you are, on some occasions, the kind of music you make is underrated while other genres are overrated/on hype.

And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?

“Make it because of your passion and the power of will, the power of perseverance, comes naturally”. I think it resonates a lot with me and the band.
