Gorillaz collaborate with Fatoumata Diawara on new single 'Désolé'

After returning last month to collaborate with Slaves and slowthai for the single 'Momentary Bliss', Gorillaz are back once again to share the next cut in their new music series.

The new track 'Désolé' sees them team up with Fatoumata Diawara for the second episode in their Song Machine series, and shows them continuing the bright and breezy direction they adopted for their latest album 'The Now Now'.

Speaking about their latest offering, drummer Russel said, "Making "Désolé" with Fatou was a real moment for me, you know. She’s an African Queen. This lady made the song what it is, beautiful, like life. What can I say about "Désolé"? They say sorry is the hardest word, but that’s not true.... Try saying antidisestablishmentarianism with a mouth full of gluten free cronuts on a speed boat without licking your lips."
