Kanye West announced as next Glastonbury headliner

Love him or loathe him, Kanye West has now been confirmed as the next headline act to play this year's Glastonbury Festival.

After days of rumours and speculation that the rapper would be the next name announced for this year's event, both Glastonbury and Yeezy himself went public with the news after Annie Mac made the announcement on Radio 1 yesterday evening (16th March) and is currently his only scheduled UK show for the rest of the year.

Kanye West will take to the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday after Foo Fighters were already announced as the Friday night headliners.

Glastonbury will take place in its usual Worthy Farm location from the 26th-28th June, with tickets now sold out.
