Kim Gordon announces debut solo album 'No Home Record'

Having been releasing solo material as far back as 2016's critically lauded single 'Murdered Out', Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon has now announced her plans to release her first solo studio album.

The new full-length 'No Home Record' was largely produced by Justin Raisen (Charli XCX, Ariel Pink, Sky Ferreira) at Sphere Ranch in Los Angeles, is being previewed by the new single 'Sketch Artist', and is set to be released on the 11th October via Matador Records.

Speaking about her new record, she said, “‘Why a solo record? And why now? I don’t know, but it wouldn’t have happened without the persistence of Justin Raisen. Living in LA the last few years it feels like home, but the transience of the place makes it feel sometimes like no home.”
