Lucy Dacus drops new single 'Best Guess'

Lucy Dacus has released 'Best Guess', the third preview from her eagerly-awaited new album 'Forever is a Feeling', which is set to arrive on the 28th March via Geffen Records/Polydor Label Group. The single arrives alongside a self-directed music video, which, much like the album’s striking Renaissance-inspired artwork, playfully subverts the classics, this time reimagining a ’90s Calvin Klein ad with a cast of “hot mascs,” including Naomi McPherson, Cara Delevingne, Towa Bird, and ER Fightmaster, all recruited via an open casting call on Dacus’ social media last month.

'Best Guess' is Dacus’ unique take on a love song, an anthem of queer tenderness that captures that intoxicating mix of excitement and uncertainty when two people take a romantic leap of faith together. With warm, hushed vocals and intimate lyricism, the song continues the deeply personal storytelling that has defined her work, while further cementing 'Forever is a Feeling' as one of the year’s most anticipated releases.

The track follows the previously released 'Ankles' and 'Limerence', both of which arrived last month, building excitement for what is set to be Dacus’ most expansive and emotionally resonant record yet.
