Mahalia delivers new single 'Pressure Points'

Starting 2025 with undeniable energy, Mahalia dives deeper into her “Luvergirl” era with the release of her sultry new single 'Pressure Points', featuring the captivating Lila Iké. Driven by lush guitar melodies and hypnotic basslines, the reggae-infused track explores the bittersweet push and pull of intimacy, as Mahalia navigates the frustration of an emotionally distant partner.

On teaming up with Lila Iké, Mahalia shares, “I’ve been a fan of Lila for a long time, so working together on this feels really special. ‘Pressure Points’ captures that intoxicating mix of pleasure and pain in relationships we know we should probably walk away from but can’t just yet. It’s about embracing the messy, toxic parts while trying to navigate through them. Sometimes, those pressure points are painful, but they can also spark moments of intense pleasure. I love this song, and I’m so excited for people to hear it!”

'Pressure Points' follows Mahalia’s 2024 single 'Pick Up The Pace' and her critically acclaimed sophomore album, 'IRL'. Known for its confident, reflective storytelling, 'IRL' explored themes of love, boundaries, and self-worth, solidifying Mahalia’s place as one of R&B’s most compelling voices. Since its release, she has been captivating audiences worldwide on her In Real Life tour, bringing her signature blend of vulnerability and swagger to fans across Europe, North America, and Australia.
