Maisie Peters & Julia Michaels team up for new single 'Kingmaker'

With her ‘Before The Bloom’ tour nearing its final stretch, Maisie Peters has unveiled 'Kingmaker', a sharp, emotionally charged collaboration with Julia Michaels.

Taking cues from Wolf Hall, the track dissects uneven power dynamics in relationships, particularly the fallout of giving too much to someone who ultimately falls short. Delivered as a back-and-forth duet, the song plays out like a candid exchange between friends, each line reinforcing its sense of shared experience and quiet frustration.

The single offers another glimpse into Peters’ upcoming third album 'florescence', out on the 15th May and produced alongside Ian Fitchuk, which explores growth, perspective and emotional recovery.
