London-based alt-rock artist Marta Vega is back with her latest single, ‘OMG I’m In Love’ - a punchy collision of gritty guitars, driving drums and huge melodic hooks.
Blending the rawness of grunge and post-punk with a sharp pop instinct, Vega has been building a name for herself with music that balances vulnerability and attitude. Drawing influence from the likes of Joy Division, Hole and L7, her sound finds the sweet spot between darkness, catharsis and infectious melody.
Produced by Andrea Tripodi and mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Stefan Brown, ‘OMG I’m In Love’ captures the energy of Vega’s live performances while delivering one of her most immediate releases yet.
Lyrically, the track dives into the complicated side of attraction — falling for someone despite trust issues, knowing you probably shouldn’t, and getting caught somewhere between desire and self-preservation. As Vega puts it, the song explores wanting something while simultaneously feeling like you shouldn't.
With a growing social following and sold-out UK shows already under her belt, ‘OMG I’m In Love’ feels like another step forward for an artist bringing a fresh edge to modern alt-rock.
