Mi von Ahn has unveiled two new singles, 'Dadjat ii (II)' and 'Varje gång vi hörs kan det va för sent', offering a glimpse into her upcoming album 'Delta Veins', set for release on November 6th.
Released on October 9th, 'Dadjat ii (II)' combines elements of trip-hop, shoegaze and psychedelia to create a hazy, atmospheric sound. The track explores the point at which personal and environmental pressures become impossible to ignore, drawing parallels between individual struggles and the ongoing climate crisis.
Its companion release, 'Varje gång vi hörs kan det va för sent', takes a more guitar-driven approach, built around repetitive drums and melancholic vocals. Sung in Swedish, the song examines the uncertainty of a relationship that may already be beyond repair.
The two tracks introduce the themes running throughout 'Delta Veins', where relationships, identity and environmental concerns intersect. The album also marks a new chapter for Von Ahn, who incorporates English, Swedish and Sámi across the record for the first time.
Working alongside producers Martin Hederos and Anton Sundell, Von Ahn expands her atmospheric indie-rock sound, blending sweeping guitars with darker electronic textures.
'Delta Veins' arrives on November 6th, following the release of the two singles on October 9th.
