Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds announce new album 'Council Skies'

Following on from the release of their highly-praised 2017 LP 'Who Built The Moon?', Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are back once again to announce the details behind their new studio album, arriving in the summer.

The new full-length 'Council Skies' is being previewed by the new lead single 'Easy Now', which comes accompanied by a stunning new video, and is set to be released on the 2nd June via Sour Mash Records.

Speaking about the new record, Noel said, “It’s going back to the beginning. Daydreaming, looking up at the sky and wondering about what life could be … that’s as true to me now as it was in the early ‘90s. When I was growing up in poverty and unemployment, music took me out of that. Top of the Pops on TV transformed your Thursday night into this fantasy world, and that’s what I think music should be. I want my music to be elevating and transforming in some way.”
