The Pale White share new single 'Final Exit'

Newcastle alt-rock trio The Pale White have released their latest single 'Final Exit', offering a heartfelt glimpse into their forthcoming sophomore album 'The Big Sad', due out on the 18th April via End of the Wall Recordings.

A marked evolution in frontman Adam Hope’s songwriting, 'Final Exit' trades the band’s signature bite for something more delicate. With chiming guitars, cinematic strings, and lush harmonies, the track leans into a modern folk-tinged sound that channels the emotional resonance of R.E.M.’s 'Imitation of Life', reimagined through the lens of three working-class lads from the North East.

“From lovers, to strangers. ‘Final Exit’ is the last goodbye to someone you’ve shared a huge portion of your life with,” Adam explains. “You both don’t quite know how you got here, but you’re both here nevertheless. To me, this song is a hypothetical reminder to love and allow yourself to be loved every day.”
