The Pedals unleash explosive new track ‘Hold Me’

Hertfordshire indie-rock newcomers The Pedals have unveil their high-octane single 'Hold Me', arriving with a surge of raw energy that marks them as serious contenders in the scene.

The track opens with a wall of distortion and percussive force before pulling back into restrained, elegant verses—creating sharp contrasts with the explosive, anthemic choruses that follow. Strummed guitars cut through pounding drums and a relentless bassline, all grounded by vocals that maintain their emotional sincerity throughout the intensity.

"'Hold Me' came together pretty quickly—we were playing around with the main riff as a band in a bedroom and it just clicked," the band explains. "Lyrically it's about wanting someone to stay, even when you're not exactly making it easy for them. We didn't overthink it—it's raw and urgent, and we wanted it to feel like it was barely holding itself together, which felt right for the title."

This controlled chaos gives the track an authentic energy that many overly-produced indie records lack. The Pedals demonstrate an understanding of tension and release that belies their newcomer status, layering indie sensibilities with alt-rock intensity while never losing sight of the emotional core.
