POND return with new single 'Terrestrials'

Australian psych-rock favourites POND have released their new single 'Terrestrials', marking their first new music since the critically acclaimed album 'Stung!'.

The track arrives alongside a visually striking video directed by Jesse Taylor Smith, further expanding the band’s immersive creative world. Musically, 'Terrestrials' leans into POND’s signature blend of psychedelic textures and expansive songwriting, offering a reflective take on the contradictions of human nature.

Written by bandmate Gum and recorded in Mullumbimby with Julian Abbott at Nowave studio, the song explores humanity’s dual capacity for connection and destruction. Frontman Nicholas Allbrook frames it as a meditation on the strange and often conflicting instincts that define human behaviour.
