Run The Jewels' Killer Mike announces new Netflix show 'Trigger Warning'

While the highly-anticipated fourth full-length in the Run The Jewels saga looks pretty far away at the moment, rapper Killer Mike has been keeping himself busy as he announces his own Netflix series, set to arrive on the service next month.

The new six-episode series 'Trigger Warning' continues Killer Mike's outspoken personality as he takes a confrontational approach towards societal norms and aims to answer the questions that most people would rather shy away from.

Speaking in a statement, the MC explained, “Trigger Warning is about examining cultural taboos and giving viewers the space to examine the ‘what ifs’ and ‘why nots’ that limit how some people move and operate in the world. In six episodes, we explore the human condition using nontraditional approaches. Not everyone will agree with my methods (and some of what we’re putting out is fucking crazy), but this show is about embracing your freedom to challenge societal expectations and conformity. This show is if an anarchist determined the status quo.”

'Trigger Warning' is set to arrive on Netflix on the 18th January and you can check out the series' trailer in the player below.
