Shamir announces new self-titled album

Following on from the release of his surprise LP 'Cataclysm', which arrived earlier this year, Shamir has now returned to announce his plans for a new studio album, arriving in the coming months.

The new self-titled full-length will feature the previously shared single 'On My Own', as well as the newly unveiled cut 'I Wonder', and is expected to be released on the 2nd October.

Speaking about his new offering, he said, "The song is about the feeling of love taking over your heart, even when you don't want it to. It also alludes to climate change and how humans (‘love’) can be the most toxic thing to the planet (‘the heart’), but also the only thing that can fix it."
