Shelf Lives drop new single 'frissioN'

London electro-punk duo Shelf Lives have launched into the new year with the release of their blistering new single 'frissoN', offering a jagged, glitch-laced preview of what’s to come on their long-awaited debut album 'Hypernormal', out on the 25th February via their own label, Not Sorry Mom Records.

Fusing thumping techno grooves with razor-sharp attitude, 'frissoN' delivers a chaotic and confrontational sound that pushes the band’s sonic boundaries further than ever. Accompanied by a high-voltage video, the single continues Shelf Lives’ reputation for bringing biting commentary and genre-defying noise to the forefront.

Produced by imdead and featuring contributions from collaborators including Danio (Fred Again.., Joy Anonymous), Pat Alvarez (The Blessed Madonna, Joy Crookes), and Lola Sam (HotWax), 'Hypernormal' is a feral 11-track collection that explores identity, overstimulation, and digital burnout. The record was mixed by Matteo Buccomino and mastered at Abbey Road Studios.

'Hypernormal' promises a riotous and thought-provoking debut that cements Shelf Lives as one of the UK’s most exciting underground acts to watch in 2026. Watch the new video for 'frissioN' in the player below.
