Soccer Mommy announces debut album 'Clean'

After releasing a bunch of DIY Bandcamp recordings dubbed 'Collection' last year, Nashville-based frontwoman Sophie Allison aka Soccer Mommy has now unveiled her plans for her first proper studio album.

The new full-length 'Clean' is being previewed by the lead single 'Your Dog', and is due to be released on the 2nd March via Fat Possum Records.

Speaking on the new record, Allison says, “I’d never made a full album before, just EPs and random tracks thrown together. I wanted it to be a lot more cohesive than the rest of the stuff that came before. I wanted to make something that was a full piece of my life, that addressed similar themes and held together as a whole... It still felt do-it-yourself. It was like being in a nicer bedroom, with better quality stuff. It was a natural progression. I’d always wanted my music to sound this way, I just didn’t have the means before.”
