SOFT PLAY announce new album 'HEAVY JELLY'

After ditching their Slaves moniker to continue on as SOFT PLAY late last year, the punk duo have now announced their plans for their new studio album, arriving in the coming months.

The new full-length 'HEAVY JELLY' marks their first collection under their new name, is being previewed by the lead single 'Act Violently', and is set to be released on the 19th July via BMG.

Speaking about the new offering, the band's Laurie Vincent said, “The whole walk back to the studio, we were discussing our contempt for e-scooter drivers. They should be illegal. They shouldn’t be on the road. They should need a theory test. It was just a rich well to discuss, and the song’s about that.”
