St. Vincent and Sam Fender share covers of Metallica's 'Sad But True'

After announcing the details behind the 30th anniversary of 'The Black Album' and a new collection of covers last week, both St. Vincent and Sam Fender have now unveiled their additions to the upcoming Metallica tribute album.

The new renditions of 'Sad But True' follow up Miley Cyrus' take on 'Nothing Else Matters' ft. WATT, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma, Robert Trujillo and Chad Smith, and Latin music superstar Juanes’ interpretation of 'Enter Sandman' in previewing the new collection 'The Metallica Blacklist', a sprawling 53 track release featuring covers of the band's most iconic offerings, which is out digitally on the 10th September with physical copies arriving on the 1st October.

Profits from the sale of 'The Metallica Blacklist' will be split evenly between charities of the artist’s choice as well as Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation.
