Stephen Malkmus shares new track 'Rushing The Acid Frat'

With now less than a month before he drops his long-awaited new solo album, former Pavement and current The Jicks frontman Stephen Malkmus has now unveiled the next cut to be lifted from his forthcoming full-length.

The new single 'Rushing The Acid Frat' follows on from the record's lead track 'Viktor Borgia' in previewing his new solo LP 'Groove Denied', his first in eighteen years, which is set to arrive on the 15th March via Domino Recordings.

Explaining his new release, the frontman describes it as a “Grateful Dead druggy tie-dye” vibe, and the soundtrack to a “Star Wars bar scene in such a frat … it’s kinda 12-bar but gigged with psych lyrics.”
