Steve Lacy returns with new single 'Nice Shoes'

Grammy-winning artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Lacy returns with 'Nice Shoes', his first new music since 2022’s 'Gemini Rights' topped both the Billboard and Spotify charts.

Written and produced by Lacy himself, the single marks a fresh chapter following the massive success of his critically acclaimed sophomore album. In the years since its release, Lacy’s influence has only grown, his early demos, recorded in high school, have quietly racked up over 2 billion streams, with breakout hits 'Dark Red' and 'Bad Habit' both earning spots in the Spotify Billions Club and going platinum.

While he’s kept a low profile, his sound has continued to shape the cultural landscape. With 'Nice Shoes', Lacy picks up right where he left off; effortlessly blending genre, emotion, and style in a way only he can.
