Tokyo Police Club's Dave Monks announces debut solo album 'On A Wave'

While his formative outfit Tokyo Police Club made their return with their latest studio album 'TPC' last year, frontman Dave Monks has now announced his plans for a new debut solo LP, set to arrive later this year.

The new full-length 'On A Wave' will feature the previously shared single 'Bluebird', as well as the newly unveiled 'Don't Go Falling To Pieces', and is set to be released on the 18th October via Dine Alone Records.

Speaking about his new venture, he added, "This might be my favourite album I have been a part of but I definitely just made it one step, one flight, one song at a time. I didn’t really know where I was going with it until it all came together. I’m really happy I stepped into the unknown and endured some moments of serious doubt and wanting to cut songs and redo them."
