Tom Odell announces new album 'A Wonderful Life'

Tom Odell has confirmed details of his seventh studio album 'A Wonderful Life', due out 5th September 2025 via UROK/Virgin. Recorded in London, the 10-track album includes the previously released 'Don’t Let Me Go' and the new single, 'Don’t Cry, Put Your Head On My Shoulder'.

A poignant, guitar-led ballad that builds to an anthemic climax, the new track sees Odell at his most emotionally resonant, telling the story of a friend in pain and the struggle to offer meaningful support.

Describing the album as a reflection on the complexities of modern life, Odell says, “To live, and to write honestly about it, is such a profoundly important part of my life now.” 'A Wonderful Life' captures both the chaos and the quiet hope of being human.
