Having already made their mark with support slots alongside Do Nothing and Blood Wizard, as well as early festival appearances at the likes of Dot To Dot, Nottingham's Victory Lap have now delivered their eagerly-awaited debut single.
The new track 'Jealousy' sees them take influence from the likes of Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and The Last Shadow Puppets, and comes accompanied by a stunning self-directed video.
Speaking about the new offering, frontman Tomas Ponting said, “Jealousy is a song written from the perspective of a man who is astray in love. The lyrical content depicts him desperately trying to contextualise and rationalise the unsettling grounds, on which he is romantically engaged. Desperate in the pursuit of love, he will turn on his own ideals to carry the torch he has lit.”
