Waverly Drive shares new single ‘Class’

Chicago & LA Based Solo artist Waverly Drive plunges into social commentary with psychedelic new single 'Class'.

The solo project of Phil Galloni draws from a rich palette of influences, channelling Bowie-esque glamour through a contemporary lens while maintaining his distinctive sonic identity.

The track showcases Galloni's knack for sophisticated arrangement, featuring contributions from an all-star lineup including Alex Kyhn (Macy Gray, Family Company) and Gadiel Mencia. Mixed by Neil Wogensen and mastered by John Greenham (Billie Eilish, Liam Gallagher), 'Class' emerges as a meticulously crafted piece of audio architecture where every element serves a purpose.

"'Class' is a lyric-driven reflection of the impact class has on society," Galloni shares, demonstrating his ability to weave social commentary into infectious melodies. This thoughtful approach to songwriting has already earned him coverage from prestigious outlets including Clash Magazine and The Line of Best Fit.

Out now, 'Class' reinforces Waverly Drive's growing reputation as an artist to watch. The track's combination of choral harmonies, precise string arrangements, and raw vocal delivery creates an immersive journey through psychedelic rock and contemporary pop, all while maintaining a sharp editorial eye on society's hierarchical structures.
